The Brother NQ3600D is a discontinued sewing and embroidery machine with a 6 × 10 in (160 × 260 mm) embroidery field. It reads .PES, .PHC, .DST files and gets designs by USB stick, and has 233 built-in designs and 11 lettering fonts.
NQ3600D hoop size and embroidery area
The NQ3600D can stitch a design up to 6 × 10 in (160 × 260 mm) in one hooping, which is the 6 × 10 in size. That is the field limit: a larger hoop from another maker will not let it stitch a bigger area.
In the box: 6" × 10" hoop (extra large) (6 × 10 in (160 × 260 mm)), 5" × 7" hoop (large) (5 × 7 in (130 × 180 mm)).
Optional from Brother: 6" × 6" square frame (5.9 × 5.9 in (150 × 150 mm)), 4" × 4" hoop (medium) (4 × 4 in (100 × 100 mm)), Border frame (about 4" × 7") (4 × 7 in (100 × 180 mm)), Small frame (about 1" × 2.5") (2.4 × 0.8 in (60 × 20 mm)).
Fits in one hooping at typical size: left chest, pocket, sleeve, beanie, towel, baby onesie, baby bib, tote bag, pillow cover, quilt block, patch.

Good to know: Brother's manual lists the largest area as 26 × 16 cm (H × W), which Brother markets as 6 × 10 in, so the hoop is 160 mm wide and 260 mm tall as attached. The manual shows the large (5 × 7 in) frame as sold separately with some models; Brother's quick reference guide lists both the extra-large and large frames in the box, so both are marked included. The medium, small, border and 6 × 6 in square frames are listed as optional accessories. The manual covers the sewing speed (70 to 850 stitches per minute) but gives no separate embroidery speed that we found, so maxSpeedSpm is left empty. Weight is the manual's figure for the machine without the embroidery unit (about 22 lb, 10 kg); the unit adds about 7.7 lb. The release year comes from the 2017 date of Brother's first quick reference guide and design guide, not a launch announcement. Brother's pages do not say the NQ3700D replaced it, so no replacement is linked. The manual does not name the model; the NQ3600D support page on Brother USA lists it. Brother lists it as out of stock and dealer prices vary, so no price range is given.
